Keep up with conversations your way
Text channels now show what is new, help you manage what you have read, and make room for reactions.
Visual indicators show new messages in text channels, even while you are in another conversation. A divider shows where unread messages begin.
You can mark a channel as read or unread and return to the conversation when it suits you.
Emoji reactions let you respond quickly to messages without interrupting the discussion.

A Dilack that grows with your community
Per-server plugins, shared coffee counts and Mac notifications make each team’s space more useful.
The new catalog groups plugins by category, with user ratings and reviews. Admins choose which integrations to install and which permissions to grant in each server.
In the developer portal, creators can register plugins, read the documentation and submit them for review. Integrations use scoped keys and permissions without running third-party code inside Dilack.
The first official plugin is Coffee Counter: each participant can log another coffee, see individual counts for today and the server, and inspect a dated history.
In the Mac app, notifications for messages, invitations, people joining a channel, files and sharing requests help you follow the conversation. Each person can choose which alerts to receive in User Settings.
The website now introduces the collaborative whiteboard, text channels, rooms, server ranking and chats with friends.

A whiteboard for thinking together
Ideas now come to life during calls, and your Dilack ID has its own place in settings.
People in the same voice channel can open a whiteboard and draw at the same time. Changes appear for everyone, and the drawing remains saved when the session ends.
Pen, highlighter, shapes, arrows, text, notes, tables and pasted images help explain ideas. You can also move, erase, undo, zoom, clear the board and export it as SVG.
You can now customize your Dilack ID in User Settings, with an availability check. The Friends area stays focused on finding people and talking to them.

Closer to the people who matter
Friends, private messages and calls arrive in Dilack, with more control for every community.
Everyone gets a unique public ID of at least six characters, can check another ID’s availability, and find friends by ID or email. Friend requests require the recipient’s acceptance.
Friends can exchange private messages and start voice calls. The list shows requests, conversations and new-message indicators.
Text channels now distinguish regular messages, announcements and priority alerts. Per-channel notification choices, activity indicators and alerts help you follow what matters.
Webhooks accept rich cards and Discord- and Slack-inspired formats, with event IDs to prevent duplicate posts and validation of links and content.
Admins can optionally add a server logo and banner, with image size limits. Creating text channels takes less space, and AFK channels cannot contain text.
Version 49
The connection reaches your Mac
Browser sign-in now ends with a verified session in the app.
Dilack for Mac 1.0.2 checks the code exchange and opens the workspace only after receiving and storing the session.
Fixed the “Open Dilack.app” handoff and the backup option to paste a code into the app. A failed connection now shows the reason instead of waiting indefinitely.
Your session is available when you reopen the app. Download the installer again to get this fix.

From browser to Mac, straight through
The mascot found the way back to the app.
Fixed the browser sign-in handoff: after choosing “Open Dilack.app”, the app now recognizes the callback and continues signing in.
If you already installed version 1.0.1 for Mac, you can try signing in again without downloading another installer.

The key turned on Mac
Signing in to the app is ready to follow you.
Fixed the error that appeared when opening Dilack for Mac before signing in.
The app now recognizes browser sign-in and saves your session for future launches.
The new installer replaces the first Mac release and still works on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.

Dilack has a home on your Mac
The mascot brought conversations into their own window.
Download the macOS app directly from the site. One installer works on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
Sign in through your browser and return to Dilack in the app, with microphone, camera, and screen-sharing access.
The installer is signed and notarized by Apple for a smoother installation.
Version 44
Every channel in its place
Server settings are clearer and easier to use.
The new screen brings together overview, server time, AFK, and a channel list with smoother navigation and explanations for each setting.
Editing a channel now opens the channel you selected. You can also change the server name and color from the overview.
Unsaved changes are protected when switching sections or closing the screen, and each form shows the result after saving.
The updates page now has a timeline with dates and times spread across the project’s evolution.

Your voice comes first
Clearer conversations and a smoother place to set up the server.
Audio now has smart RNNoise noise suppression, with native browser processing as a fallback when needed.
Voice activity detection handles silence automatically. You can adjust sensitivity and release time, or turn it off in user settings.
The server settings menu stays in place, and the AFK section opens without interrupting the page.

Everything in your own time
Your room and notifications follow you with more clarity.
Taking over your session in another tab or browser returns you to the same channel and restores voice and camera controls when the browser allows it.
Connections with other people start sooner, reducing the wait in the room.
Server settings open in a complete screen with a clear close control and Escape support.
Transfer offers show an animation and the other person’s name and photo. Recipients hear an alert, and temporary messages dismiss themselves.
Server time follows each individual voice connection even when an update is delayed; the ranking shows seconds to avoid apparent ties.

Your space keeps up with you
More continuity, personality, and comfort for every conversation.
Refreshing the page returns you to your voice channel and restores microphone and camera state when browser permissions allow.
An account can use only one tab or browser at a time, with an option to move the active session.
Profile photos update immediately for you and for others in the server without reloading.
You can now offer clipboard text and files directly to people in your channel, who choose whether to accept.
The ranking opens in a side panel from a compact button, while the server menu brings settings together.
Voice and video controls now have consistent sizes and clearer states, and the sidebar mascot no longer has a black backdrop.
The updates page scrolls normally again.
Version 40
More room for the conversation
The room is becoming clearer and more comfortable for everyone.
An icon beside each name shows whose camera is on, including to people who have not joined the channel.
A compact channel header gives video and screen sharing more room.
Ranking, AFK, channel links and editing have organized access. Everyone can see rankings; only admins can configure the counter.
Screen quality choices are clearer, without the “Manual” label.
There is now a page to follow what is new in Dilack.
Welcome page ambience starts automatically when the browser allows it and unlocks on the first interaction when needed.
